Single Window for Imports and Exports
- National Administrative Reforms Council (NARC), Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and Ministry of Trade have set up a tripartite committee to explore the possibility of building a Single Window for Imports and Exports.
- The Tripartite Committee invited Re-engineering Government Programme to submit the observation on the current situation. Once the observations were given, ICTA was requested by the Tripartite Committee to carry out a study and submit a report on way forward.
- In response to this request ICTA engaged Mr Harin Gunawardane as an external consultant to carry out the study. The study was finalized and the report was presented to NARC on ---
- ICTA also prepared a list of functional requirements which should be met by any party would develop the Single Window.
